Proudly I announce that the new United States Consul General in Munich, Jennifer Gavito will join us with her family for the End of Summer Soul Jam on the 6th of September. Our event will be one of the first events she will attend at the beginning of her tenure, and she will take the opportunity to greet many members and friends of the Bavarian-American community. Let's give her a hearty welcome to Munich!

End of Summer Soul Jam, 6th of September
The Family Krätz proudly invites us to a music festival Linda and I are planning, which will take place at the Waldwirtschaft, Georg-Kalb-Str. 3, 82049 München-Großhesselohe near Pullach on 6 September 2015 beginning around noon and continuing throughout the afternoon. Performing will be some of the best musicians and singers in and around Munich, who also played for us at the Amerikahaus Jam I we had last year in May. Those of you who attended that party know what fantastic music we had. I expect everyone to be dancing. For more information please take a look at the attached flyer.
We will have special reserved and decorated seats in the beer garden facing the band under large white umbrellas. Come out and enjoy the great-tasting food in the beer garden (US steaks, Kobe-beef hamburgers, spareribs, etc.), dance and join in on the fun and network in a very comfortable atmosphere in one of the best beer gardens in Germany. If you want a table for your group, please arrive early enough to reserve your own table within our reserved area.
Everyone is invited. If you have friends that may be interested in joining us, please feel free to pass this email along.
Parking space is available, but you are encouraged to travel out there by S-Bahn S-7 to Isartalbahnhof (15 minute walk to the Waldwirtschaft) or by bicycle, which is the easiest and preferred way to get there. The Waldwirtschaft is situated very close to the Isar river. For more information about the Waldwirtschaft and it's activities please take a look at their website, www.waldwirtschaft.de
