Ischgl Season Opener - Long Trip
Finally!!!!!!! - let´s get back on the slopes everyone! We are planning a trip to Ischgl to open the 2021/ 2022 ski season. To keep things safe, we have decided to make this a self-drive trip and are limiting the number of people to just 32 (instead of our usual 52) - so book early!!! In addition, you can gladly let us know if you have any preferences regarding who you want to share a room with.
To display our gratitude to those that supported the club financially in the Corona year by keeping their memberships active, we will be giving all Season 2020/21 members priority to sign up exclusively until August 14th, 2021.
We´re staying at:
- Hotel Erika, downtown Ischgl Tirol, Austria
- 02.12.2021 - 05.12.2021
- Self-drive
- Accomodation in a 4 * Ski-in/ Ski-out hotel in downtown Ischgl incl. Breakfast, use of the Wellness area (sauna, steam room, infra-red cabin) and a 3-day Ski pass. If you want to limit your social contacts during the trip, the hotel also has it´s own small bar.
LOCATION
As mentioned, we are heading to Ischgl which is known for its famous bars and restaurants and for the excellent ski runs.

ACCOMODATION
For the first time, the ski club has reserved at Hotel Erika - a great ski in/ ski out hotel right on the slopes in downtown Ischgl. The hotel is just 100 meters from some of the best restaurants and bars in Ischgl - right off the pedestrian zone - and only 250 meters to the main gondola. It has a lovely sauna/ wellness area as well as it´s own bar. This hotel is very difficult to book and we are very fortunate to have secured this booking.

We will offer two price categories for the trip.
Category 1: 2- person occupancy
Category 2: 3- or 4- person occupancy
Please note that certain corona rules will apply to all hotels and to all guests staying at Austrian hotels. As far as we know today, 3G rules will apply, meaning you will need to be either vaccinated, tested or have recovered from Covid 19.
PRICES
Prices start at €420 p. Person for active members and €440 for associates (incl. accommodation and 3-day lift pass)
QUESTIONS AND FURTHER INFORMATION
It is very easy to rent equipment in Ischgl, if you don´t have your own. There are multiple opportunities down in the village or up on the mountain both offering the newest gear.
In case the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues a travel warning, the trip will be cancelled and payments will be refunded in full (same as last year). If by September 26th, 2021 the minimum number of participants (22 participants) has not be reached, MISC reserves the right to cancel the trip. In this case payments will also be refunded.
